Sukhalya is a yoga studio and retreat center that aims to create a peaceful and joyful environment for everyone.
We offer yoga classes including Hatha yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and mindfulness practices. Sukhalya is a place where you can experience happiness & inner bliss through the practice of yoga & living a yogic lifestyle. "Sukha” means happiness or joy, and "alya” means dwelling place. Hence,Sukhalya is "a dwelling place of happiness or joy."
The goal of Sukhalya is to provide a space where practitioners can connect with themselves and find inner peace and happiness through the practice of yoga and meditation. Sukhalya also offers workshops and seminars on topics related to yoga, such as nutrition, Ayurveda, and stress management. Sukhalya is not only a physical space but also a mindset and a way of life. Sukhalya suggests that happiness and joy are not just fleeting experiences but can be cultivated and sustained through regular yoga and mindfulness practices.

Shobhit Ghanshyala

Shobhit discovered Yoga in his early twenties and immediately realized that this was his passion!Shubh has studied and practiced Yoga under many great Guru/ Masters from different Yoga schools like Ashtanga and Iyengar. 

He has lived in Ashrams like Shivananda Ashram; Trivandrum and Divine Life Society; Rishikesh which has further deepened his yogic life and practice.He offers this accumulated experience, wisdom, and knowledge through his teaching. Shubh has taught Yoga across India and China. In this journey of his, he has been inspiring lives and spreading happiness through yoga. He is one the teachers of house of om.

Lovish Kandoi

Lovish is an IIT-ian turned Yogi. He is Double Masters, M.Sc. in Applied Statistics from IIT Bombay & M.A. in Yogic Sciences from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar. He was always keen in Yoga & Spirituality.

To pursue this interest further, He went to Rishikesh to graduate in Yoga Teacher's Training Course. Then, He went to Sivananda Ashram, Kerala and learnt from traditional Gurus and also pursued Masters in Yoga.

Till date, he has learnt from many Himalayan Gurus and his biggest idol & inspiration is Acharya Vinay Ji from which he learned alot.

He's fully equipped with knowledge on Hatha Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, Nutrition & Ayurveda and wants to spread this holistic lifestyle to everyone.

Dheeraj Singh
Yoga Instructor

Dheeraj possesses certification as a yoga instructor and exhibits extensive knowledge in the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of yoga. He received training from esteemed Himalayan Yogis, which has endowed him with versatile techniques. 

For over a decade, he has been dedicated to disseminating yoga knowledge, having assisted more than a thousand students to date. With professional experience in luxurious five-star hotels and wellness centers, he is adept at handling international students. Dheeraj has earned numerous professional certificates, including TTC and YIC, from renowned yoga institutes such as The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta and Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samasthana, among others. In addition, he completed a 21-day program in Hatha Yoga at the Isha Yoga Center and a TTC (Teacher Training Course) in Artistic Yoga under the guidance of Bharat Thakur. His passion for travel has facilitated profound connections with his students. His guru, Acharya Prahlad ji, has been instrumental in his personal  growth and has imparted unique techniques for a holistic approach. Dheeraj specializes in Shatkarma and various forms of meditation.
